We noticed the BIG need at permanent encampments was hygiene. Very few toilets exist for the 12k poor living in Skid Row. So we started making baby wipes infused with rubbing alcohol that we call “baths in a bag.” It’s been a big hit. Everyone asks for more. Even the cops like them!
Every week, without fail, since 2013, we make 150 hand-crafted baggies of wipes, offer them from our car windows, and enjoy the love, humor and thanks we get on behalf of our donors who make this all happen.
